About our Fall Activities
- Hope everyone is staying warm! What follows are a few things that are happening this week at Grace and in campus ministry specifically...Looking forward to seeing you around.
- Men's retreat! If you'd like to join an intergenerational men's retreat to Trego, WI, Nov 13-15th, you're welcome to join the men from Grace University Lutheran Church. Email PastorDan@graceattheu.org for more information. Slots are almost full, so make a decision quick!
- Do you like kids? Would you like to spend some time with them? The youth and family committee at Grace is looking for college students to help out with a variety of the childrens ministries Grace offers (music, sunday school subbing, etc). Email kate@umnlutheran.org and she'll get you in touch wit the right people.
- Please join us at Bread and Belonging (dinner at 5:30pm, discussion at 6:30pm!) Topics for the next month are as follows:
- Oct 18th, Sacred Waters: Baptism and Care of Creation. Matthew Stembridge, the director of creationcarefund.org will lead us in a conversation about a Christian's relationship to the natural world.
- Oct 25th, Caring for our Water. A Ceremony and Interfaith Conversation with Tara Chadwick, a member of the Midewiwin lodge, advocate for indigenous rights, and water rights activist.
- Nov 1st, All Saints Day. We'll celebrate the lives of the saints amoung us and those who have gone before us in prayer and conversation.
- Nov 8th, (tentative) Water Access. Student Allison Beebe talks about her experience digging wells in Tanzania and leads us in a conversation about how we might support these efforts and conserve our water better.
